Our Team

Board of Directors

Teach Tearmainn’s Board of Directors direct the organisation’s affairs in order to meet the need of the organisation whilst also adhering and complying with all applicable legislation and regulation. The Board of Directors offer their services on a voluntary basis.

Management Team

Teach Tearmainn’s management team comprises of the CEO, the Refuge Coordinator, the Day Services Coordinator and the Finance & Compliance Manager. The Management Team work closely together to meet the needs of the service and develop the service in line with Teach Tearmainn’s Strategic Plan.

Support & Outreach Workers

Our Support & Outreach Workers offer a broad spectrum of support to women at any point in their experience of Domestic Violence and Abuse.

Refuge Support Workers

Our Refuge Support Workers work directly with the women who access our Refuge Service. Our Refuge Service is operated 24 Hours per day, 7 days a Week.

Relief Workers

Relief Workers carry out the same tasks as Refuge Support Workers on an ad hoc basis. The Relief Workers benefit from the same training as the Refuge Support Workers.

Court Accompaniment Worker

Our Court Accompaniment Worker provides information and support to women who are navigating the Legal System as a result of Domestic Violence and Abuse.

Children’s Support Worker

Our Children’s Support Worker works with Children and Young people who have been affected by Domestic Violence and Abuse.

Children’s Activity Worker

Our Children’s Activity Worker works with Children and Young people who are accessing our Refuge Service. The Activity worker offers a range of fun, educational and therapeutic activities for the children, at the weekend.

Administration

Our Administrator and our Finance Administrator work together to ensure the needs of the service are met from a practical and financial focus. Our Administration team is kindly supported by the Community Employment Scheme.

Cleaning

Our Cleaner works diligently to ensure the service is kept clean and organised to a high standard to ensure that Teach Tearmainn is a welcoming and safe environment for all those who access and visit our service.
