VolunteerVolunteers play an important role in enhancing the services we offer to women and children. Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of women and children by donating their time and energy in a number of different roles. The opportunities to volunteer at Teach Tearmainn are extensive and individualised according to the unique gifts of each volunteer and the needs of the organisation.

If you are skilled in alternative therapies, art, graphic design, event organising, fundraising, campaigning, or any other medium of expression or advocacy, contact us. We can then see how your skills and background can best assist our organisation, and the women and children we support.

• Email volunteer@teachtearmainn.ie for more information about current volunteering opportunities and a copy of our Volunteer Application Form

Successful volunteers (18 years and over) must first undergo an application process that includes an interview, Garda vetting, reference checks, training and orientation.

Volunteering is at the very core of being a human. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help
